About me

Vaida Vaskiene BSc (Hons), LSSM (Dip) MISRM, NKT

My name is Vaida, born and bread in Lithuania, a keen traveller of the world, now settled in Ely (Cambridgeshire), with a passion to help others.

I have a history of working as Physiotherapist in Lithuania. I studied at Lithuanian Sport University and gained BSc Physiotherapist qualification in 2007.

I further trained as Sport & Soft Tissue Therapist in London and studied at London School of Sports Massage and gained the ISRM BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy in 2015.

Since my diploma I have become interested how our bodies manage pain, where we could be holding compensations and why. This path into the neurological explorations of muscular skeletal pain is where my current interest and study lie. This led me to train with David Weinstock founder of NeuroKinetic Therapy and Dr Perry Nickelston founder of Stop Chasing Pain and many more have yet to come.

I combine manual muscle testing, manual manipulation, dry cupping, neuromuscular techniques alongside functional exercises and education to help improve your movement patterns, reduce your pain and facilitate your own healing. Instead of working with the site of pain, I seek out the root of the present problem and tailor a personalised treatment to meet your individual needs.

I am fully qualified Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Therapist and a member of the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage (The ISRM).
